  • migrating ocf debian machines (tsunami, supernova, etc) to nixos

    • tsunami in progress
      • need to finish migrating some commands like makesql
    • supernova is functional, called rainbowdash
    • admin.ocf.io and ssh.ocf.io (cnames) should be used when possible instead of hostnames
    • we are reusing public keys

  • no designated channel for issues that opstaff encounter / printer maintenance, etc

    • need channel focused on desktops issues, printer issues, etc
    • running btwn different channels is difficult rn
    • ocf.io/projects or existing #opstaff channel for this?
    • storce: a lot of stuff gets posted to the #opstaff channel, opstaff logistics, etc

  • 11 beds, accomodates over 16 ppl >:)
  • a lil pricey, 2 nights would be $2700 for 12 ppl
    • if we say 16, it goes up to $3k
  • 3 ppl driving, 15 ppl in total, 5 per car
    • rest can use public transport we thought...? but lowk it sucks
    • would have to transfer many times
